Air Duct Cleaning

Thorough cleaning of supply and return ductwork — with an honest assessment first, because not every home needs it.

When It's Worth Doing

Duct cleaning done for the right reasons

Duct cleaning has a reputation problem — too many companies sell it to everyone, every year, whether it helps or not. Our approach is simpler: we clean ducts when there's an actual reason to, and we'll tell you when there isn't.

Good reasons to clean your ducts:

  • Post-construction or remodel dust in the system
  • Evidence of rodents or pests in ductwork
  • Visible mold growth inside ducts or on components
  • Heavy visible buildup or dust blowing from registers
  • Decades since the last cleaning

What's Included

Full-system cleaning
  • Supply and return duct cleaning
  • Register and grille cleaning
  • Blower compartment cleaning
  • Evaporator coil inspection

Dedicated duct cleaning equipment

Duct cleaning done right takes real equipment — our dedicated duct cleaning trailer carries everything needed to clean a full system properly, not a shop vac and a brush.

Pairs well with better filtration

Cleaning removes what's already in the ducts — good filtration keeps it from coming back. If dust is a recurring problem in your home, ask about a media filter upgrade at the same visit. See our indoor air quality page for the options.

Duct cleaning questions

How do I know if my ducts actually need cleaning?

Clear signs: visible dust blowing from registers, ducts that haven't been cleaned in decades, recent construction or remodeling dust, evidence of rodents or pests in the ductwork, or visible mold growth. If none of these apply, duct cleaning may not be worth the money — and we'll tell you that.

Does duct cleaning improve airflow?

It can, when ducts have significant buildup restricting air movement. It also removes the dust load your filter would otherwise have to catch over time. It is not a fix for undersized or poorly designed ductwork — that's a different conversation.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

There's no fixed schedule. Most homes only need it occasionally — after construction, after a pest problem, or when buildup is visible. Annual duct cleaning is generally unnecessary for a typical home with decent filtration.

How long does duct cleaning take?

Most homes take a few hours, depending on the size of the system and the number of vents.
