Safety matters with heating equipment

Gas furnaces are safe when properly maintained — but a cracked heat exchanger or venting problem can allow carbon monoxide into your home. A carbon monoxide check is part of every heating tune-up we perform, and we recommend working CO detectors on every level of your home.

Cover both seasons with one plan

Our maintenance plan includes your fall heating tune-up and your spring AC tune-up — so both systems get checked before the season they work hardest.

Not keeping up? Common causes we find

Short cycling is often a clogged filter, a failing flame sensor, or an overheating heat exchanger. No ignition usually traces to the igniter, flame sensor, or gas valve. Weak airflow points to the blower motor, a crushed or undersized duct run, or a filter that's overdue. Cold rooms at the end of long duct runs are frequently a balance and airflow problem rather than a furnace problem. Whatever the symptom, we find the cause before quoting the fix — right down to details like a failed fuse at the disconnect.
